About Here Kitty Kitty Adoptions |
|
Principles
The following are the principles that we abide by:
- No-Kill: We do not euthanize for space, but we will euthanize if a cat is suffering and there is no reasonable hope of improvement. All decisions to euthanize a cat will be made by a licenced veterinarian
- Shelter: We provide a place of protection and refuge, where a cat can live comfortably until it is adopted or lives out its life.
- Care: We deal with individual cats, not statistics. Each cat will be provided with a high quality of life, including:
- All necessary and recommended medical care
- Fresh food and water
- Clean, attractive and sanitary housing
- Appropriate number of litterboxes
- Sufficient space to live, play and sleep comfortably
- Access to private space
- Fresh air and sunlight
- Activities and toys for physical and mental stimulation
- Daily human interaction
- Dignity and respect
- Spay or Neuter: We spay or neuter each cat before it goes into a new home.
