Cats and Kittens have been tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed, and are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations.

Cat surrender/intake policy:

We receive many calls and email messages every day from people asking us to take their cat(s). People call us mainly because they have cats they feel they can no longer keep or care for or because they have found a stray or one has appeared at their door. Why Adopt from HKKA?

By adopting a feline from HKKA, it allows us to accept another cat and save its life.

In addition, you are adopting a cat/kitten that has been spayed or neutered; treated for internal and external parasites; and is or will be fully vaccinated as part of the adoption fee. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV.

Adoption Process

We try to make the adoption process as easy as possible. All you need to do is stop by the Adoption Center, and one of our adoption counselors will help you find a cat that will bring lots of joy to your life. Please note that at this time we are only able to accept cash or check.

Because HKKAs' commitment to all cats entrusted to us is to make sure they remain out of harm's way, we have a strict indoor-only adoption policy. If you are not able or willing to abide by this policy, it is best for you to adopt from a different agency.

Return Policy

While we strive to make matches that last the cat's lifetime, we recognize that there may come a time when someone feels they must return an adopted cat. HKKAs' policy is to always take back any cat adopted from us.
